I wanted to share with everyone, a picture that one of Tamyra's Fans emailed me:

I felt like contributing something special to the blog and to Tamyra specifically, so I took out some time and made a caricature from one of her pictures on American Idol. I have also added a quotation below that is in sync with the performance she did that night and yet acts as a message from my side. I plan to make a series of such Tamyra caricatures sooner or later and then compile them into something useful (like a calendar for instance).
P.S. The cornrows took quite a task to make ...lol

Hello! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. A new week is upon us, once again. Is it me, or does it seem as though the weeks , and months are just flying by so quickly. Before you know it will be winter again. By the way, has anyone had the opportunity to see the broadway play '"RENT"?  If so, please post your comments below. Tamyra is still doing "Rent" until June. So if you havent had a chance to see her play "MIMI", be sure to check her out whenever you are in New York. Rent is scheduled to end its run September 7th, 2008. Hello! everyone, and thanks for visiting our newly developing blog page. I hope eveyone is having a fantastic week thus far.  I know I am having a blast, and truly excited about our new journey.This is definitely a work in progress, so please bare with us. Tamyra will be back on the big screen  this year no release date given so far. The movie is called "Dancing With Shiva". Directed by Jonathan Demme. With Anne Hathaway, Rosemarie DeWitt, Mather Zickel, and numerous other actors. So please make sure you check it out. As Tamyra career develops, I will keep you updated. My First Blog About Tamyra

Hello! my name is Rita I am the mother of 1st season American Idol finalist Tamyra Gray. I am very new to this blogging thing. I thought it would be an interesting thing for me to do. since I do spend a lot of time (spare time surfing the internet) Right now I have nothing but spare time if you know what I mean. I am a Real Estate agent(get the picture) in between jobs. Also, I thought it would be a great way for people to get to know Tamyra. Through my eyes, and not the eyes of the media. It is like getting it straight from the horses mouth. (sort of ). As most of you know Tamyra was a finalist on the "first season of "American Idol". From there she  appeared on numerous tv. shows. Also, appeared in "THE GOSPEL" Starring Boris Kodjoe "Now "RENT" is her current home until June 2008. Tamyra is currently working on her album, and let me tell ya, I see Grammy nominations in her future. Tamyra and I will keep everyone updated about anything, and everything within reasons about Tamyra and her future. She is becoming so busy, I thought I would take the time to help out.
